Article abstract: Occurrence of sever burn injury immediately after cerebrovascular accident is a rare incident. We present a case of a 54-year-old man admitted to the hospital with a major flame burn and smoke inhalation just fallowing a stroke. Management of these patients is a challenging issue. Selection of conservative treatment or emergency care surgery depends on patient’s condition. In the absence of inhalation injury, performing early excision and grafting may increase survival if the patient’s condition was stable.
